It is something he has been doing all of his life. Growing up in inner city Los Angeles he quickly sensed the desperation of the environment he was in. He began to see how music had an immense and direct impact on his surroundings and ultimately himself. Understanding that the music around him was a representation of the life he lived was only the first of many realizations. Overcoming the societal obstacles placed in front of him during his early life would be the true beginning of his journey. After recognizing the many parallels between his own struggles as a Hispanic youth and an independent hip hop artist with those of his own people in the States and Latin America they became a focal point and in the end the breaking point.
